1. How do I get involved?
You can sign up to be on our mailing list. When you do, you will
recieve notification about UHELP activities and events. You wil
also receive special notices about public meetings, workshops,
and hearings that concern health and environmental issues.
UHELP is always looking for volunteers. People are always
welcome to help around the office, organize tours and meetings,
and do research.
2. Does it cost money to attend the workshops?
UHELP's community forums are free of charge and include dinner
and child care. If you need child care, please call in advance to
register. The Toxic Tours are free for groups, however donations
are welcome.
3. Do you provide transportation?
Transportation to UHELP's community forums and toxic tours
can be arranged if you call in advance.
4. Can I bring my children?
Child care is available with advance registration to all community
forums. Children are welcome to all UHELP activities, unless
otherwise noted. However, we ask parents and caregivers to
supervise their children at all times.
Child care is not available during the aerobics classes. Children
are welcome to attend and participate, however, parents must
supervise their children at all times. Parents must also assume
responsibility for their child's safety if they choose to participate in
the classes.
5. Can I make a suggestion?
UHELP welcomes yours comments. Please click here to provide

6. Where do I find out about the volunteering?
UHELP is always looking for volunteers. If you are interested in
volunteering, please call our offices to set up an appointment.
Volunteer opportunities available right now include:
*Health education research - help us collect health information
*Grant Writing - help us get money to continue our activities
*Office help - we always have filing, copying, and data entry to do
*Tour moderators - we will train you to do our tours
7. Can I donate time and money?
Absolutely! You can donate time by volunteering. Students who
have community service requirements to fulfill are welcome to
apply.
You can make donations either by check or credit card. Make
checks payable to PSA/UHELP and mail them to the address
below. Please call our offices for more information on donating
with your credit card.
