Toxic Tours
Three hour tour demonstrating how some of the major manufacturers in the area continually pollute Wilmington's air, water, and soil.
Community Forums/ Education Sessions
Designed to discuss issues related to health and/or the environment prevalent among Eastside residents. Topics include air quality, Arsenic levels, recycling, and the beautification of the community.
Health Screenings
Designed to have registered nurses test reisdents for common medical conditions, including high blood pressure, diabetes, strokes, depression, etc.
Annual Health Fair
Open to to the community in order to educate, test, and dissemiante information to residents.
"Pump Up the Volume"
Free, low impact aerobics to promote healthy lifestyle through fitness.
Community Health Surveys
Community awareness challenge with over 200 respondents identifies health conditions and needs from the effects of pollutants.

Designed for community use to advertise health and environmental issues.
Environmental Resource Coloring Book
Designed to educate preschool children on health and environmental issues and how they are affected by them, while also giving the children a chance to have fun and express their creativity.
Community Recycling for Eastside Wilmingtonians (CREW)
Pilot program targeted for Eastside Wilmington desgined to educate residents on, and advocate for, recycling, and encourage the 3Rs: recycling, re-using, and reducing the amount of waste going to the landfill.

Community Action for Renewed Environment (CARE)
Developed in response to community requests for help in addressing toxic concerns. Through CARE, organizations will build community capacity to udnerstand and reduce risks associated with toxic pollutatns.
Youth Council: Community Beautification Program
A youth program designed to encourage community pride for youth between the ages of 12 and 18. Youth are given the opportunity to be a contributing factor in their community through commmunity cleanups and by planting foliage and flowers.
