Tau Eta Chapter of Chi Eta Phi (registered nurses association)

Tau Eta Health Initiatives:

- In collaboration with Delaware Stroke Initiative, Tau Eta Chapter performs Stroke Assessments in the community. The goal of the collaboration is to assist the organization in providing screening and education in high risk populations. 
- AIDS Delaware and Tau Eta Chapter are partnering to provide HIV testing and education in the high risk population in the City of Wilmington. Tau Eta Chapter will be providing testing and education weekly at a designated site.
- The Chapter is working with the Delaware Pharmacy Society to screen and educate Delawareans on Diabetes.
- Tau Eta received a grant from the Delaware Health and Human Services Diabetes Prevention program to implement diabetes educational workshops to seniors age 65-90. The program includes physiology of diabetes, foot care, eye exams, lipid screening, and nutrition.   
- Tau Eta is also working with Health Disparities, a subcommittee of Delaware Cancer Consortium. The goal is to educate individuals on the importance of Colon screening.
